| Can YOU help us to re-open a Beaver colony (aged 6-8) or a Cub pack (aged 8-10 and a half) to provide for the many youngsters who are currently on our waiting list to join Scouting in Flackwell Heath? We have an enthusiastic and active group of leaders providing worthwhile activities for youngsters from age 6 to 14. As a leader you would have access to first rate training and the support of the current leader team as well as performing a valuable community service. The sections each meet one evening a week (approximately 1.5 hours) during school term time. The leaders prepare a varied programme and we would expect re-opened sections would follow closely the activities already planned for the current sections.

Right now many youngsters are missing out on the experience of Scouting because we do not have the leaders required. Please think about what you could do to help.
| Here are some other ideas on how you can help.
For a start, come along on the first Saturday of each month and join in a working party to clear up the HQ, we will be working on the inside and outside (weather permitting) and all hands will be most welcome. You can do virtually anything from making the tea through to gardening, lifting, tidying up, cleaning etc. We aim to make a real difference!
