FOOD FOR THOUGHT 2017
We will be running a new Food for Thought course in the early part of the year. This five-part course is open to anyone who is interested in finding out if there is a spiritual side to life. We will be meeting in a home in the village rather than in the church (times to be confirmed very shortly), where a meal will be provided on each occasion. If you know of anyone who might be interested in this, please let one of the stewards know Ė many thanks.
On January 25th we will be at Steven and Maddy Sykesís house, and on February 1st at Paul and Suzanne Soperís, (8 p.m.) when we will be continuing our series of Bible studies on the theme of Christian character. All are very welcome.
Please donít forget our regular prayer meetings on Saturday mornings from 10.30 in our dedicated prayer room. The January 28th meeting is led by Paul Soper and the one on February 4th by Maddy Sykes, where we will be joined by our friends an Christ Church to pray for the needs of High Wycombe.
Although this may still seem a long way off, our Easter Messy Church will be on Saturday 8th April. There will be a selection of activities in the main hall, a celebration in the church followed by a meal, and volunteers are needed to help with planning, set-up, food preparation, serving, clearing-up, etc. Please put the date in your diary and, if you are able to help, there will be a sign-up sheet with details available soon. Many thanks!
