This year’s church anniversary is on Sunday 6th November, with our morning service led by Carolyn Luscombe, followed by a church family lunch – all are welcome, but please put your name on the list in our vestibule so we have an idea of numbers. In the evening at 6.30 there will be a Holy Communion Service led by Rev. John Richey

On October 19th, we will be meeting at Paul and Suzanne Soper’s house continuing a three-part study on the theme of Passionate Worship – a subject which we began discussing at our church weekend away. The following week (Oct 26th) we will be at Steven and Maddy Sykes’s, concluding the study. All are very welcome

Tuesday 8th November, 9.30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Come and make a start on your Christmas shopping, keeping warm and dry whatever the weather outside! On Fridays in term time 9.00am to 11.30am. Bible Stories, drama, singing, craft for 0-4 year olds.

Please don’t forget our regular prayer meetings on Saturday morning from 10.30 in our dedicated prayer room. The September 10th meeting is led by Shirley and the one on 17th by Queenie.

We are re-establishing a property committee at FHMC. This will meet four times a year and will be responsible for considering property and maintenance issues in our church. It does not require any significant practical skills but we would like as diverse a group of individuals of all ages as possible. If you feel able to offer your services, please let one of the stewards know. Many thanks.
