Church Weekend away at House of the Open Door

this will be 5th – 7th August 2016; please make a note. In keeping with the Circuit’s suggestion of looking at Patterns of Worship, we will be using this as our theme for the weekend. “Worship is the gathering of the people of God, in a particular place, with the intention of encountering the true and living God”. Many thanks to Maddy Sykes for kindly volunteering to take over the booking arrangements from Shirley.

One Can Food Bank

A reminder that the One Can Trust’s stores are empty and they are currently using their financial reserves to buy food for distribution – so if you can help, please bring something for the box in the church. Various food drives are been held in supermarkets around the area so please look out for those. More info is available on their website (see below) including a list of what foods are most needed. Many thanks to all those who have already contributed. https://localgiving.org/charity/onecantrust/
